My 2nd Panthers Mock Draft

Happy New Year Everyone! I did a mock draft a few months ago, I think this one is better and will fill all our needs.

1st Round. Allen Robinson WR Penn State

Gotta give Cam someone else to throw to and we get a very good wide out here. Robinson stands at 6'3 205lbs. He is an outstanding combination of height, explosive leaping ability and hand-eye coordination to pluck the ball over defenders. Rare body control. He would be an amazing 2nd option to Smitty.

2nd Round. La'el Collins, OT, LSU

Powerful run blocker standing at 6'5 315lbs. Collins is playing left tackle for the Tigers and has been extremely impressive this season. Quarterback Zach Mettenberger has been protected extremely well by Collins, and the big lineman has done well in run defense.

3rd Round. Aaron Colvin, CB, Oklahoma

Our team definitely needs as much secondary help as possible. Colvin will help in covering the very good receivers in the NFC South. Standing at 6'0 and 192lbs. Colvin is a physical corner with a tough-minded approach against the run and in coverage. Although he physical play does get him into many pass interference penalties.

4th Round. Mike Davis, WR, Texas

Another WR could never hurt. at 6'2 195 lbs. Davis has some size and speed to his game. He would have better numbers with better quarterback play. His stock could move up in the senior bowl.

5th Round. Terrence Brooks, S, Florida State

He has played well for the Seminoles while showing good instincts and a nose for the football. He's 5'11 and 197.

6th Round. Cassius Marsh, DE, UCLA

Marsh is 6'4 and 265lbs. He displays a quick get off and pursuit speed for the position. Provides versatility with experience playing every position on the D-line. Marsh had a big game against USC to close out the regular season. He showed a nice combination of power and quickness.

7th Round. Jacob Pederson, TE, Wisconsin

Pederson has 36 receptions for 501 yards and three touchdowns in 2013. Even though he's undersized, he has blocked well in the Badgers' offense. He could produce more if Wisconsin can get good quarterback play. Pederson has blocking potential, but could use more bulk for the NFL. He has the height to add weight to his frame. Pederson is a sleeper prospect who could rise.

Hope you guys like this one. I love hearing all your opinions and to have a nice conversation about our potential draft picks.
