The Carolina Panthers need all the help they can get this week against the Seattle Seahawks, but have several concerning injuries.
Two players showed signs of recovery Thursday, with both Ben Hartsock and Mike Tolbert returning to practice fully. Jon Beason was given the day off on Wednesday, but was still limited today. He's listed as having a knee injury, and it feels like this is more than precaution as the Panthers approach their first game.

One new injury to watch is Dwan Edwards, who was added today. His injury could mean that Kawann Short gets the start this week -- a wise move given his preseason performance.
The Panthers are poised to be very thin at running back with Kenjon Barner almost assured to miss this week. What is it with former Oregon Ducks and foot injuries? In any event, Carolina will turn its attention to DeAngelo Williams and Mike Tolbert, hopefully without too much Armond Smith.
