Welcome to Week 5 of College Football.
On Thursday we saw Virginia Tech struggle past Georgia Tech at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Both teams are keen to figure in the ACC Coastal title race, so this defeat will have been a blow for Georgia Tech.
So let's look at the big games at the usual breakdown of Noon, 3pm and 8pm:
Kicking off at noon we have No.12 South Carolina at UCF and No.15 Miami at South Florida. East Carolina face North Carolina at 12:30pm, which I’m sure will interest several of you here on the blog. UCF have been competent this year, so they should provide South Carolina with a challenge. East Carolina pushed Virginia Tech earlier this season, so this will be a good test for North Carolina too who also seem set to feature in the ACC Coastal title race.
At 3:30pm we have No.6 LSU at No.9 Georgia, and No.14 Oklahoma at No. 22 Notre Dame. LSU are strong National Title contenders this year, so it will be very interesting to see how they handle Georgia. Somehow Notre Dame remain ranked.... Clemson, Florida St and North Carolina St. all feature at 3:30pm today too, if that’s more your speed.
At 6:30pm we have No.21 Ole Miss at No.1 Alabama. I think the media have covered that game to exhaustion this week.
The PAC 12 dominates the late showings tonight. The pick is at 7pm with Arizona at No.16 Washington in what could be a very competitive game.
Finally at 8pm we have No.23 Wisconsin at No.4 Ohio St in a game between two highly overrated teams!
So which games are you looking out for? Who have you got in the highlighted games?
