Welcome to Week 4 of College Football.
On Thursday we saw Clemson dubiously beat North Carolina St in their own home. It keeps Clemson on track for their ACC Championship Game and, perhaps, a National Title run.
So let's look at the big games at the usual breakdown of Noon, 3pm and 8pm:
Kicking off at noon we have North Carolina at Georgia Tech and Marshall at Virginia Tech. Noon is all about the ACC today. Is it on the rise, or will history prevail and mediocrity reign? North Carolina fancy themselves as ACC Coastal Champs [snorts] and is VT’s D good enough to slip past Marshall? We shall find out.
At 3:30pm we have Tennessee at No.19 Florida, Purdue at No.24 Wisconsin, Michigan St vs the bafflingly ranked No. 22 Notre Dame and West Virginia vs Maryland. A whole host of interesting games on the slate, with Tennessee the only team likely to be blown out.
The game of the day is at 7pm with No.23 Arizona St at No. 5 Stanford. The PAC 12 is possibly the deepest conference in football, so I’m hopeful this game lives up to it’s billing. We also have the game I’ll be watching, Savannah St vs No.16 (FINALLY RANKED!) Miami. Although the game won’t be of interest to anyone else!
So which games are you looking out for? Who have you got in the highlighted games?
