Panthers rookie running back Kenjon Barner will miss his second consecutive game after suffering a foot injury in the preseason, and James Dockery will also be on the inactive list after having thumb surgery a few weeks ago.
The other inactives for Carolina are: CB Melvin White, C Brian Folkerts, TE Brandon Williams, DT Sione Fua and DE Wes Horton.
Domenik Hixon being listed as active should give the Panthers some needed help in the passing game as it gives Cam Newton one more target to attack the Bills' weakened secondary.
Buffalo's secondary is weakened because S Jairus Byrd and CBs Ron Brooks and Stephon Gilmore will all be out due to injuries. Also on the inactive list for the Bills are: K Dustin Hopkins, C Doug Legursky, TE Chris Gragg and WR Marquise Goodwin.
Here's the bottom line: Carolina has an advantage on offense with Buffalo missing several key starters. If they want to win this game, they need to exploit that advantage.
