Welcome to week 3 of College Football.
We've already seen Texas Tech knock off No.24 TCU in their own house. Is this a week of big upsets?
So let's look at the big games at the usual breakdown of Noon, 3pm and 8pm:
Kicking off at noon we have No.16 UCLA vs No.23 Nebraska and No.7 Louisville vs Kentucky. This is a choice between the pro style Bridgewater and the read option Martinez. Is Bridgewater for real, or is he just playing a powerpuff schedule (yes)? Where have UCLA come from?! We'll find out shortly.
At 3:30pm is undoubtedly the game of the day between No.1 Alabama and No.6 Texas A&M. The (overrated) reigning champions vs Johnny Football. It's been talked about all week. Who comes out on top? Saban's last four losses have come against mobile QBs (including our very own Cam Newton - which is terrifying as Newton has been in the NFL for 3 years!), but the Aggie D can't stop anyone. Should be a barnburner.
If that's not to your fancy can I suggest the all ACC matchup between Georgia Tech and Duke (no takers? Ok then!). Tennessee vs No.2 Oregon is a game I'm also interested to see the outcome of. Can the Volunteers do anything to stop the Oregon steamroller, or will their SEC defense SEC?
Sadly this week there isn't a monster matchup to round off the day. No.25 Ole Miss with their No.1 recruiting class vs the underachieving Texas, or No.21 Notre Dame against scrappy Purdue are the highlights at 8pm.
If anyone is willing to stay up late I wouldn't be surprised if No.20 Wisconsin vs Arizona St is a good game at 10:30pm.
So which games are you looking out for? Who have you got in the highlighted games?
