Today we're finishing the 3rd round with Charles Johnson vs. Brad Hoover.
How they got here:
Charles Johnson defeated Jeff Mitchell 78%-22%
Brad Hoover defeated James Anderson 73%-27%
Here's the case for Charles Johnson:
We've been dealing with Charles Johnson being underrated by the rest of the league for three years now, and it appears that no matter what he does he's never going to get the respect he deserves. He's been one of the best pass rushing DEs in the NFC, and still doesn't get the recognition that he's earned on the field. I think it's safe to say that outside of Chris Gamble, Johnson is the most underrated Panther and is deserving of the #2 seed in this bracket.
And, here's the case for Brad Hoover:
Brad Hoover wasn't one to rack up any flashy stats or get major media attention, but he was an integral part of the Panthers success running the football during his tenure in Carolina. He opened up running lanes for his backfield mates better than anyone else in franchise history, as evidenced by the fact that the Panthers still haven't found a lead blocker to replace him since he was released at the end of the 2009 season.
Alright, it's time to open up the poll and find out who comes out on top. This is a tough vote, but it has to be done. So, who do you think was more underrated -- Charles Johnson or Brad Hoover? Cast your vote now!
