Today we're starting the 2nd round with Chris Gamble vs. Mike Minter.
How they got here:
Chris Gamble defeated Brentson Buckner 75%-25%
Mike Minter defeated Nick Goings 74%-26%
Here's the case for Chris Gamble:
Chris Gamble is one of the most successful cover corners in recent NFL history, yet he was always underappreciated because he didn't rack up a lot of interceptions. For many fans, his ability to take away the #1 receiving option for the opposing offense wasn't good enough because he didn't rack up sexy numbers on a stat sheet, and for that reason he holds the #1 seed in the underrated bracket.
And, here's the case for Mike Minter:
Mike Minter was always a solid player for the Panthers, but he never seemed to get any recognition from anyone outside of the Carolinas, and that's really a shame because he's still one of the best safeties (if not the best) that has ever put on a Panthers uniform.
Alright, it's time to open up the poll and find out who comes out on top. This is a tough vote, but it has to be done. So, who do you think was more underrated -- Chris Gamble or Mike Minter? Cast your vote now!
