The 2011 sixth round pick never really did anything while in Carolina. A mixture of injury and ineffectiveness, it was a wonder Williams didn't get cut last year. His ability as a swing offensive lineman was never realized, and when the team needed a player in a pinch they went with Jeff Byers.
This could be a very interesting stretch for the 2011 draft class. There's no guarantees for anyone outside of Cam Newton, and it's wholly possible we could see the organization move forward with none of their later-round draft picks. Only Kealoha Pilares and Sione Fua remain.
We'll keep this section of CSR updated with the cuts from Charlotte as they happen. The team look to be setting their identity, and there's no telling how this could end up.
