2013 NFL Schedule: Panthers Pre-Season schedule released

Doug Pensinger

The NFL has released the Pre-Season schedules, so let's take a look at who the Panthers will face.

The Panthers found out today who they will face in the pre-season, and as it stands right now they have four good teams to measure themselves against as they prepare for the 2013 regular season (and hopefully playoffs).

Below you will find the Panthers' 2013 Pre-Season Schedule:

Week Opponent
1 (8/9) Chicago Bears
2 (8/15) @ Philadelphia Eagles
3 (8/22) @ Baltimore Ravens
4 (TBD) Pittsburgh Steelers

As of right now the only time provided is for the Ravens game, which will be televised on ESPN starting at 8:00PM.

The exact date of the Steelers game hasn't been confirmed, but it's most likely going to be on the 29th, which is a Thursday. Once we have confirmation of the exact date we will be sure to let you know.

I like that the Panthers are playing the defending champs in their 3rd game, because that's the game that counts the most, and they have a chance to see how they stack up against one of the league's premier teams.

I also like the fact that we finally get to host the Steelers. I could be wrong here, but to me it seems that we always play them in Pittsburgh during the pre-season. (Editor's note: They alternate home/away with the Steelers every other year. Apparently I haven't been paying attention. Hat tip to IsaidgoodDAY! for providing the information.)
