This last draft was pretty good, I'd give Gettlemen a B. Star is awesome, I don't mind Short, should be good to have continual fresh legs on the line, I don't get our guard Kugbilla or the Linebacker Klein. But Gettlemen in my opinion saved the most crafty pick for last, Kenjon Barner. Not only is his highlight reel ridiculuous but he adds a different type of running back to our backfield. The only problem I've had with double trouble is that they are essentially the same running back. They are both all around guys who aren't ridiculuously fast or powerful. They are two solid running backs are good (not great) at everything. Neither are worth what we are paying them either. So here is where Barner comes in. He is different, which adds a new dynamic to our already explosive offense. He could be the Darren Sproles of our offense. But Brian, what about his size? He's tiny, but his size is an advantage in my opinion, he has the cut back speed and agility to hit smaller holes and he can actually fit through them. He's a smaller and faster target to hit. I can see him becoming a nightmare for defenses. We need coach him up a bit, but I would say next year (after a year of learning our offense) we break up double trouble, free up some cap for Cam's big pay day and promote Barner to be a number two back along side with J Stew or D Will. Doesn't matter to me which one because like I said I think they're the same thing. I guess whichever one costs more. Look out for Barner though. He has big plays written all over him. Stay tuned for an incredibly entertaining season of football.
