Again us Panther fans have been subjected to the hardest statistical schedule. That's what happens when you are on the low end of the NFC South. But what I have note been hearing from Panther nation or ESPN is the fact that all the teams we are playing were HUGE in the free agency.
Let's look at our opponents: Seattle, San Francisco, Tampa, and Miami. Seattle picked up Cliff Avril and Percy Harvin. San Francisco got Anquain Bolden. Tampa just got Revis and Miami got Mike Wallace and Ellerbe. Did I mention that Atlanta also got Stephen Jackson?
So as a Panthers fan what more can we say then "We're screwed!" I will say this, every single win we have (and I still think we will have a good many) will feel so much better because we are going to have to earn each one of them. We drafted Cam and I looked our schedule for the next 3 years I saw NFC west this year and I was thinking "that's our year". Maybe not. But I still believe in the Panthers and think they could beat any team in the NFL on any given Sunday.
Any thoughts on how hard this schedule really looks?
