The Carolina Panthers have spent ample time looking at the draft's top defensive tackles -- but now they're looking a little deeper in the class. According to Tony Pauline, these three defensive lineman are the latest to have privately met with the Panthers.
Spence, who elected to declare early for the draft, doesn't have prototypical size, but he does have that short area quickness you like to see in your under tackle. He would be a nice pick in the 4th round.
Williams (who many of us are familiar with) would be a nice addition to this team because of his ability to get into the backfield. I believe he would be a steal in the 2nd round.
Jones has the versatility to play both tackle and end, much like our very own Greg "the Kraken" Hardy. If he were to somehow fall to our 2nd round selection, we could have another potential steal on our hands, and a replacement for Hardy should he leave via free agency at the end of the upcoming season.
