Fridays. It's a time to kick the dust off your work boots, and relax after a long week with some questionable fried shrimp served with a Jack Daniels glaze from a chain restaurant. In Charlotte, the end of the week has come to signify one thing: "who's getting cut?"
With the early-week release of James Anderson, the Panthers are now under the salary cap, meaning it's unlikely we'll see anyone released today. Instead the team will stay the course, and perhaps as the market cools down around the NFL it will finally be time to see the Panthers add some talent.

Forget highfalutin dreams of Nnamdi Asomugha, at this point getting Antoine Cason on a one-year deal would be a coup. The sad realization that the biggest FA move the Panthers have made in five years was signing a fullback.
