After coming to Carolina for a physical earlier today, veteran CB Drayton Florence has agreed to a 1 year contract to play for the Panthers in 2013.
As I posted earlier today, the Panthers brought in Drayton Florence for a physical today, and that physical has led to a one year contract agreement with the veteran cornerback.
Per ESPN's Adam Schefter:
CB Drayton Florence to the Panthers on a 1-yr deal.

Florence spent last season with the Lions, but due to injuries was only able to play in 8 games. This isn't a blockbuster move and probably won't make the headlines at NFL Network or ESPN, but this is the typical kind of move Panthers fans should expect to see during this free agency period. Florence is a solid veteran presence who was willing to come to Carolina on a one year contract for a presumably small amount of money.
The terms of the deal are currently unknown other than the fact that it's a one year deal, but as soon as we have the information on the amount of money he's going to be paid we will be sure to provide that information.
As always, stay tuned to CSR for any other breaking free agency news.
