The dream is still alive Panther fans, at least for me if you disagree.
Lotulelei has let the NFL know he plans to do all of the drills at his Pro Day scheduled for next Wednesday March 20th:
Top NFL defense prospects Star Lotulelei, Jarvis Jones have health answers - The Denver Post
Several scouts have said they have been informed Utah defensive tackle Star Lotulelei, who did not work out at the scouting combine because of a previously-undiagnosed heart condition that was discovered during the player's physical in Indianapolis, will do everything March 20 in his on-campus workout. Lotulelei is considered a top 10 player by many teams, but there were some in the league who had him placed between 15 and 20 on the board even before the heart condition was revealed.
So this is good news if you are hoping Lotulelei is okay enough to play at a high level but leaves enough doubt to be passed over with the first thirteen picks. It's a dream I know but it's March, the month of draft dreams.
So I wonder who had him at 15 to 20 before the combine physical? That's news to me as I don't recall seeing a single big board that had him outside the top 10.
I think realistically if he performs well at his Pro Day he will go #3 overall to the Raiders. If he should slide I can't see him getting past the Titans or even the Bucs for that matter.
