This is one depiction of Panthers v. Saints -- but Austin Madison's is on another level - Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

With previous work on hit movies Up and Ratatouille, one Pixar artist took to depicting the NFL.

In a season-long series of artwork called 'fantasy football', Pixar animator Austin Madison pulled a variety of horror tropes, popular images, and elements of pop-culture to do an amazing series of drawings on his personal blog -- according to an article by The Verge.

The Carolina Panthers got their treatment too -- immortalized in their December 29th victory over the New Orleans Saints. I think you'll agree that the result is pretty amazing.

Not only do we have the Panthers themselves looking friggin' amazing, but the depiction of New Orleans as the Boondock Saints is enough for me to almost like them... a little.

Hopefully Madison will continue his 'Fantasy Football' series into 2013 -- because based on the quality of the work I think the results could be amazing. Yes, there might be a picture of Chuck Norris kicking a Bengal tiger in the face -- which speaks for itself. You can see the entire collection on Austin Madison's blog, found here.
