First post here.
I started following football in 2002. The 2003 Panthers made me a fan for life. Even after having experienced more lows than highs while supporting the Cats, I am still proud to be a fan.
Let's not be upset about today's loss. Think about this, if someone would have told you on September 1 that we will be 9-4 on December 8, how would you have felt? Pretty good I guess. Most experts (including some of us) had predicted a 9-7 season at best. Although, we are not there yet, I am pretty sure we will make the Play-Offs this time.
We need to win the next 3 to get our momentum back, period. That includes beating the Saints in Charlotte. That is a MUST. If there is one team I despise in this league, it is the Saints and their obnoxious fans.
However, if we reach the playoffs, we will probably be the 5th seed. A win in the Wild-Card round will most likely take us back to New Orleans. At the point we should be able to take the revenge for today.
Our strength, our defense was off today. It's good that our off-day came today instead of the playoffs. Now, we can focus, re-group and then go and smack the living daylights out of anyone we face.
