The Washington Redskins are reportedly planning to interview Panthers defensive coordinator Sean McDermott for their vacant head coaching position, according to Joe Person.

McDermott has been integral in crafting the Panthers defense into one of the league's best, emphasizing pressure from the front seven in an effort to throw off opposing quarterbacks.
