Well that escalated quickly. To soon? probably, but i just want your guys opinions on this.
SIZE: Greg Hardy: 6"4 290
Julius Peppers: 6"7 287
Height goes to Peppers, but wight goes to Da Kraken. Size is no biggy though.
Da stats. As of 2010 combined
Da Kraken: combined tackles- 194. Total solo 137. Sacks 29.0. 6 Forced Fumbles, 1 recovered.
Julius Peppers: Combined tackles 172. 135 Solo. Sacks 37.0. 8 Forced Fumbles, 7 recovered.
Keep in mind Kraken didn't really "KRACK" the starting lineup until 2012. In 2012-2013 season, and 2013-2014 season Da Kraken has consistently had atleast 11 sacks a year (that is top 7 d-lineman potential). Peppers may have more sacks, but that is because he Started 2 seasons more than hardy. I have no doubt, that if hardy started 2010, and 2011 he would be a top 5 DE (not that he isn't). You can also defend peppers by saying "well he is double teamed every down" well if that's your case, then you aren't thinking clearly, because peppers has been double teamed HIS WHOLE CAREER, so excuses aside, Kraken is better now than Peppers. Peppers is ageing yes, but he is still a good lineman. I look forward to seeing Kraken wreck the field more in a Cardiac Cat Uniform.
