Let's get back to the basics... Short and simple, win the game, make the playoffs. So the recipe I am sharing this week is just that - 2 ingredients, quick prep and you will have a game day snack that will be devoured quickly. I want to see the same from our Panthers!
Most everyone has had pigs in a blanket, but my revision makes them even more tasty! The key is to find the CHEDDAR smokies - so far I have only found them at Wal-Mart. Food lion here does not carry them, but check out your local grocery store - you may have better luck. I can assure you these will disappear! Enjoy!
Pigs in a Blanket
1 Package Hillshire Farm, Cheddar Lit'l Smokies
2 Packages Pillsbury crescent rolls (8 per package)
Preheat oven to 375. Remove crescent rolls from container. Cut each triangle in ½ long ways. You should have 32 triangles if you bought packages of 8 when done. Roll 1 little smoky in each triangle (like you are making a crescent roll) starting at the wide end and ending with the point. Place about an inch apart on a baking sheet. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes - they should be golden brown. Remove from oven and serve.
