This is like my 3rd or 4th mock draft, but i'll keep doing them until draft day. I keep changing my mind, because the Panthers players are un predictable. one week you need a Cb in the first round, then you need a receiver in the first round. It's harder than it looks ok? Without further rambling lets get into my mock
1st: WR: We could probably rely on Jordan Matthews being at this spot
2nd: OL/CB: Gabe Jackson, pretty good guard that could be taken in the 2nd round
3rd: OL/CB: Darqueze Dennard, if he falls he could form into a young star for the panthers
4th: BPA: i Prefer an OL here
5th: BPA:: I would like anything here
6th: BPA/DE/OLB: Same as 5
6th: QB: If Logan thomas falls below radar after a bad season he could be a good backup
We have important needs so this is what we should be going for, no more than 1 receiver should be chosen, and he should be chosen in the first round, so get excited because one of these WR's will be our future :Marqise Lee, Jordan Matthews, Mike Evans, or Allen Robinson
aside from the 1st round we need O lineman, and Corners. We should be pounding the door for TE's and Qb's aside from that. And if there is a DE/OLB at BPA take him. At Qb i would like Logan Thomas, not sure if he is mocked higher than the 6th round, but if he is available TAKE HIM, he is very identical to Cam Newton.
In the 2nd round i would prefer an O-lineman rather than a corner, but either would be fine with me. Same goes for rounds 3-4.
Like I have said, Rounds 5-7 are strictly for finding diamonds in the rough, that is all those rounds are for (aside from depth anyway).
Lets not also forget Edmund Kugbila is still injured so, if we need a Cb in rounds 3 or 4 take him.
That will conclude my mock, have a safe and great Thanksgiving everyone!
