Was just reading on Nfl . com and seen some article on how Rg3 asked to not show bad plays in team meetings. True or not, i can see Rg3 and Shannahan beginning to lash out at each other. Could have the Redskins tanked their franchise with sacrificing key draft picks for rg3? in all fairness they could have skipped getting rg3 in the first, and have drafted a much needed linebacker, or D-lineman. Seeing as that draft was deep in D-line, and of course linebacker (Kuechly still echo's in the mind of 9 picks taken ahead of him). Kirk Cousins in all fairness looks like a true franchise Qb, smart in the pocket, deadly accurate, and has a habit of making 4th quarter come backs and victories (2 in 2 starts i believe), they even missed out on a first round pick this year which, as we can see, hurt them badly. here is what i think they could have done if they wouldn't have drafted up for Rg3.
With the 14th pick in the 2012 NFL draft, the Washington Redskins select... Michael Brockers DT LSU.
Funny enough he is who the rams took in that spot that the redskins gave up, but that pick would help tremendously on the inner core of the d-line, giving the Redskins a pretty stought front seven with Ryan Kerrigan, London Fletcher, Brian Orakpo, Perry Riley, Jarvis Jenkins, Stephen Bowen, Berry Cofield, and Michael Brockers.
With the 22nd pick in the 2013 NFL draft,, the Washington Redskins select,, Deandre Hopkins!! WR Clemson
Makes perfect sense that the Redskins would draft a Wr to help Kirk Cousins. A talented nice sized receiver that gets the ball with his hand and not body. This would also compliment Pierre Garcon, and the Rest of the offense.
I'm not taking in account if the Redskins would have drafted a different Qb, because then the entire draft would be re altered, and the world as we know it would be inside out.
