(ruled not a touchdown, by the totally not corrupt ACC refs)

On Thursday......no teams of note played. However, on Friday, USC defeated Oregon St 31-14 in Oregon to drag themselves back into the PAC 12 picture. Ed Orgeron is doing a great job of holding that team together under adversity and they may be a problem in the coming years.

So let's look at the big games at the usual breakdown of Noon, 3pm and 8pm:

Kicking off at noon we have No.24 Wisconsin at Iowa and Virginia Tech at Boston College. The two BIG Ten teams should play each other close. Virginia Tech, meanwhile, are looking to continue their excellent start to the season against a solid Boston College squad.

North Carolina visits North Carolina St at 12:30pm, which should be of interest to everyone here. UNC crushed Boston College last week and is fighting for pride at this point. State is on a 3 game losing streak, looking to right the ship. Should be a good one.

At 3:30pm we have No.21 Michigan at No.22 Michigan St, Navy at No.25 Notre Dame and Georgia at Florida. The headline matchup is a huge rivalry game between two one loss teams. The Independents game has no huge meaning besides me hoping Navy knocks Notre Dame out of the rankings. Finally two injury depleted pre-season title contenders go head to head in the SEC.

Sneaking in there at 7pm we have No.18 Oklahoma St at No.15 Texas Tech. This is a huge game for these one loss, BIG 12 teams. Texas Tech is coming off a disappointing loss last week, whilst Oklahoma St is looking to extend their three game winning streak.

Rounding off the bill, we have the game of the day at 8pm with the ACC matchup between No.7 Miami at No.3 Florida State University. This fierce rivalry game has National title implications, obviously, but it will also be of interest to Virginia Tech and Clemson who are looking for their respective division rivals to stumble here.

So which games are you looking out for? Who have you got in the highlighted games?
