Harbaugh could learn a thing or two from Rivera 2.0

In some aspects the Panthers' win in San Francisco is earily similar to the Panthers' loss to Seattle. Both games were low scoring defensive struggles, both games featured 4th and 1 situations near the goal line, and in both games the team that chose to kick that field goal instead of going for it on those 4th and 1 situations lost the game. I shudder to think of what this game might have been if Harbaugh chose to run it on 4th and 1 (something their team is really built to do, and Gore did have 5ypc in the game), and I'm so very happy that we have a coach that figured out that calls like that make the difference in the game.
