McWhat?!?!

You have to be kidding me...this has to be some terribly timed, out of season, April Fool's joke that is extremely distasteful and disheartening. We finally release the most polarizing bench-rider we have ever had and what do we do? Pick up another bench-rider. And not only that but this guy is a freaking QB convert just like Edwards!

Now that I'm over my agony of this pick-up let's talk intangibles: McNutt was a 6th round pick out of Iowa by the Eagles in 2012. This young man has similarities to Amarnti Edwards, Isaiah Stanback, and Denard Robinson in the sense that they all played quarter back at some point in their college careers and have been converted to wide receiver. McNutt has prototypical size for a wideout; he is 6'2" and weighs 216 with a hand size of 10". His 40-time at then 2012 NFL Draft combine was 4.54, his best 3-cone drill was 7.15, and his best broad jump was 10'2". It would also be well noted that McNutt was the 2011 Big Ten WR of the year posting: 82 receptions, 1,315 yards, and 12 touchdowns in 2011. McNutt is known as a sure handed target through his playing time at Iowa, Philadelphia, and Miami.

McNutt's pro stats are non existent since he has never caught a pass in a NFL regular season game. With that being said what type of a receiver will you think McNutt will be for the Panthers?
