As a Panthers fan, one of the best treats we get to enjoy every year is seeing Carolina's rookie class entertain the children at the Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte by dressing up in full Halloween garb and embarrassing themselves for a good cause.
If you've been anxiously awaiting that to happen this year, then today is your lucky day. The Panthers sent their rookies out to the hospital for some fun time with the kids today, and they have a photo gallery of all the players in their costumes on Panthers.com. Instead of posting every picture from the event, I'll just link the photo gallery to the team site so you can check it out there.
While it certainly is fun to make fun of the players for looking ridiculous, let's not lose the real reason the team does this: to spread good will and cheer to those who are down on their luck in the community. This event is always a big hit with the kids and parents who are visited, and it's always refreshing to see examples of how community driven the Panthers are. Kudos to the organization for continuing to do this every year, because it's one thing that we can all look forward to and enjoy.
