Rams vs. Panthers: Friday injury report

USA TODAY Sports

Full steam ahead for Panthers offense, while the Rams sustain a blow

The Carolina Panthers and St. Louis Rams have released their friday injury reports and Kenjon Barner is expected to play this weekend for Carolina.

Things aren't so sunny for the Rams, as cornerback Cortland Finnegan is expected to miss Sunday's game with a thigh injury. Finnegan isn't as bad as he appears on paper, according to Turf Show Times in our weekly Q&A. Life should be easier for Steve Smith, and maybe the Panthers can finally expect to see the most from their top wide receiver.

Greg Olsen is expected to play this weekend, and should be able to pressure the center of the field against a solid group of linebackers for the Rams.
