The Carolina Panthers are taking a patient approach to having Greg Olsen participate in practice, as the Panthers' tight end was upgraded to "limited" on Thursday after missing practice on Wednesday.
Cornerback D.J. Moore was the only player who didn't improve his standing and it's likely he'll miss this week's game. This isn't a huge loss, especially given Melvin White was able to practice in a limited basis, but he'll still need to pass the league's post-concussion protocol before returning to the field.
Kenjon Barner practiced fully for the second-straight day, making it safe to assume he'll be able to play this week. Another running back could be a huge addition to an offense incorporating more screen passes in its arsenal. He has the speed to take the edge and pressure St. Louis' linebacker, if only Barner can prove he's able to hold onto the football.
Cortland Finnegan missed practice again Thursday, making it likely he could miss Sunday's game. The Rams being without their top cornerback would be a huge benefit to an inconsistent Panthers' passing offense. It appears they will have running back Zac Stacy however, which will push Carolina's defense.
