At this point we know the general idea of what the Panthers do-- wear white to start the year in an attempt to deflect the heat, then move to their black jerseys as the season progresses into Winter. Over the last few years fans have felt like the Panthers haven't worn the black jerseys often enough, and 2012 will be no exception with Carolina wearing them just four times at home.
The organization unveiled the home schedule today at Fan Fest, complete with the jersey plans for each home game. After the jump we'll have the full breakdown on the jerseys from week-to-week.
Preseason
Houston Texans- 8/11: White
Miami Dolphins- 8/17: White
Regular Season
New Orleans Saints- 9/16: White
New York Giants- 9/20: Blue (Thursday night on NFL Network)
Seattle Seahawks- 10/7: White
Dallas Cowboys- 10/21: White
Denver Broncos- 11/11: Black
Tampa Bay Buccaneers- 11/18: Black
Atlanta Falcons- 12/9: Black
Oakland Raiders- 12/23: Black
