We knew this was happening, and nobody should be surprised. Jeff Otah (now known simply as 'Blotah') was unable to pass his his physical, so the trade that was consummated last Tuesday will be voided, and Blotah will return to Carolina.

Just when you think you're out, he pulls you back in... but in my limited experience with physics that tends to happen with a large body's gravitational pull.

Kudos to Marty Hurney for trying to pull a fast one on the Jets. Ship out the dead weight, talk about how he still has a future in the league, and cross your fingers hoping he can manage to pass a phyical. Alas, he probably didn't anticipate Blotah would care as much about football in New York as he did in Carolina. Just yesterday another beat writer charactertized Blotah's attempts to pass his physical as 'disinterested', basically affirming what we saw in Carolina.

Every cloud has a silver lining though, and in this economic climate the restaurants of Spartanburg could use a much needed infusion of capital.
