The doldrums of the NFL off-season, coupled with our high number of UDFA signings and leftover bottom-roster dwellers, have caused rampant debate as far as who will actually make the team this year. Every year there seems to be a guy who is either shockingly cut, or squeezes through the cracks to make the team against the odds. For example, last year I was shocked to see Kentwan Balmer cut, considering our known DT issues. I was also surprised Tyrell Sutton and David Clowney did not make the roster, but Armanti Edwards did. Though there is always speculation, I wanted any bold predictions before training camp started on who will sneak in to make the bottom of the roster, who will surprisingly be cut, or one or two guys that will be stashed on the practice squad instead of being cut.

Louis Murphy is now a road block in the way of most of the young WRs making the roster, but you could still be praising the pedigree of "future hall of famer" Jared Green. Are you still feeling the size of Lamont Bryant or Nelson Rosario? Do you have AE as in or out? Could Ron Edwards be cut or Jimmy Clausen traded in a surprise move? Could a guy like Matt Reynolds, Will Blackwell, or Joe Jon Finely sneak in and take a spot? Will Lee Ziemba, Jordan Senn, or Seyi Ajirotutu hold on to their current spots? Was DJ Campbell drafted just to be cut?
Show off your prognostication skills because as of now, we can only base our judgements on mini-camp stories, college stats, and Youtube highlights. If you have a thought for a post-training camp roster surprise, put it out there. Yes it could be as much of a terrible crapshoot as our pre-draft predictions, but here's your chance to pass some more time during the offseason until August 11 arrives. And of course by putting your predictions on paper, you afford yourself the opportunity to have that all-important future "I told you so" moment within the CSR community. Who knows, you might even get one of these...
