Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but I only just saw last week's press release that Cam Newton, along with former Auburn star Bo Jackson, and Larry Johnson (formerly of the Charlotte Hornets) will be holding an autograph session this Saturday, July 14th at SouthPark mall starting at 1:30PM.

Those in the Charlotte area know how elusive Newton has been since arriving in Carolina a little over a year ago. While it's somewhat easy to run into a member of the team here or there, Cam has done his best to stay off the radar, and outside of the announced purchase of his condo we haven't really gotten the paparazzi coverage of the QB we expected.

Obviously my suggestion is to get there early if you plan to attend. The signing has already made local news, and on what is shaping up to be another hot (and rainy) weekend, chances are high that the mall will be a zoo. If you have the opportunity to meet with Newton, even for a second, please throw up a fanpost and let us know how it went.
