Editor Update: Once reading your feedback on this topic I realized quickly that I should have adjusted all of the roster settings to a 12 team league since that is most likely how we will set up our leagues again this year.

Let's talk fantasy football league settings. Last season we had seven leagues going and honestly we didn't talk about the settings in advance. I pretty much went with the default settings with a few special Jaxon tweaks. So I'm thinking we could customize the league settings based on popular opinion and sound reasoning I'm sure.

So I've copies the settings from my ESPN league but changed it to 12 teams to serve as the baseline using performance scoring. For those that care chime in and let me know what settings you would change and why you would make the change. I'll try to explain the more significant settings.

Current Roster Size: 14 - Eight starters defined below with 6 bench players.

Total Starters: 8

Total On Bench: 6 with limits by position specified below

So here is one of the bigger questions. How do you weight the quarterback?

I changed this from 20 yards passing per point and 4 points per TD to the current setting. I like giving premium to the QB that throws it in the end zone versus gets yardage over TDs.

I like the performance settings but I extend the yardage requirements to 40 and 60 yards.
