Now Ive seen a lot of people on CSR that want him cut this off season and a few others who wouldnt mind him returning. But I think Armanti should be given a chance to win the #3 receiver spot and slowly reacclimate David Gettis into the #3 spot. Last preseason I thought Armanti shined as a receiver and led the team in yards and receptions. Hes never really gotten a shot in a regular season game.

We used a 2nd and a 3rd rd pick on Armanti and I think the Panthers need to throw him on the field and give him a chance. Yes, he did spend a whole season returning punts but thats not the same as seeing time as a receiver. What college QB outside of Brad Smith transitioned into a good return man? Does anybody remember when the Dolphins drafted Marcus Vick and tried to make him a punt returner? He couldnt catch the ball and was one of the first people cut.

I would absolutely love to see Armanti throw some double passes or reverse passes and even step in at QB and run some wildcat this season. Armanti could replace Legedu Naanee's production at the #3 WR spot and add a little flare.
