I have been reading the Bears coverage. After a 7-3 start crumbled last year, they believe that they are truely one or two pieces away from winning it all. A second pass rusher to pair with Peppers, and a Premier Wideout. The fact that Coples, Ingram, and Floyd are are very likely to be available, means a trade with da bears is possible. According to the draft trade value chart, a fair trade is there.
Trade Pick #9 for Picks #19, #50, and #111.
Would you do it
I would not if Kalil, Claiborne, or Blackmon were
available. I would if they are not. An extra pick in the 2nd and 4th rounds would be magnificent, and the drop of 10 spots actually puts us in a great spot to pick from several great choices in our areas of need. I am using Drafttek to identify the players that are likely to be available at each pick.
(R1)Pick #19 Coples or Mercilus (DE) Many mocks have one still available at #19. I would hate the pick at #9, but would love it at #19.
(R2)Pick #40 Kendall Reyes or Jerel Worthy (DT)
(R2)Pick #50 Alshon Jefferey or Mohammad Sanu (WR)
(R4)Pick #104 Josh Kaddu (OLB)
(R4)Pick #111 Josh Norman (CB)
(R5)Pick #143 Vontaze Burfict (MLB)
(R6)Pick #180 Anger, Butler, or Martens (P)
(R6)Pick #207 Levy Adcock (OT)
(R7)Pick #216 Josh LeRibeus (OG)
