Option 1:New York Giants-The Giants still have no one to groom behind Eli Manning as Carr is just a servicable back-up at best. What can we get: Maybe a player for player trade. Possible trade players- Linval Joseph DT: Drafted in the same year and round as Clausen was a good rotational DT. Ryan Perrilloux QB: Off and On the practice squad for his whole NFL carreer is mor like Cam then Eli and can be groomed to backup Cam after next season. Or trade for future daft pick since we traded are 3rd for next year: Maybe as high as a 5th but more likely a 7th.
Now that the draft is over and we weren't able to move Clausen what do we do with him. Just releasing him seems a waste as well as keeping him on the roster as a game day inactive all season. I have come up with a few ideas that could net us at least some gain instead of a big fat loss.
Option 2:Baltimore Ravens- Flacco is in a contract year and is disgruntled by no talks of contract extension, also no proven backup as Painter was horrible in Indy and Taylor rode the pine all season. Possible trade players: Arther Jones DT, also draft in the same year as Clausen and has played in only one season as a rotational DT. Or same draft picks as we'd get from Giants.
Option 3: You decide.
