Jerry Jones won't guarantee that CB Mike Jenkins will be on their roster this season

The Cowboys have signed CB free agent Brandon Carr, and now drafted CB Morris Claiborne to be the Cowboys starting CB's this year, while cutting former starting CB Terence Newman, but CB Orlando Scandrick was signed to an extension last season. For CB Mike Jenkins (5-10 1/4, 200, ran an "official" Combine 4.49-40, but "unofficially" a 4.32-40) it seems that the writing is on the wall for Jenkins, and that Jerry Jones publically post the "For Sale" sign on Jenkins tonight.

The question might be, should the Panthers be interested in acquring CB Mike Jenkins? Jenkins is in the last year of his rookie contract, at $1.052 million, so a late round pick might be all they could expect to get for him. Maybe the Panthers could trade the Cowboys own 5th round pick in 2011 (Panthers CB Josh Thomas) back to them for Jenkins. LOL
