Damond Talbot, one of the authors over at Mocking the Draft, did an excellent two part series on Vontaze Burfict, complete with an exclusive interview. After reading the background story, check out the interview here. Burfict has seriously damaged his stock on his own accord, but this series provides some different insight into him compared to the perception presented through the media thus far. I would not mind us investing a 5th round pick into Burfict. He could fill a dual role by providing much needed depth at MLB and WLB. I believe a coach/former linebacker like Rivera, and positional leadership from Beason/Davis could provide the structure and discipline needed for Burfict to thrive. Your thoughts?
