The 1st red flag for Baylor WR Kendall Wright (5-10 1/4, 196, 30 1/2 inch arms, and 8 5/8 inch hands) came at the Combine, when he ran only an "official" 4.61-40, but he overcame that by also running an "unofficial" 4.45-40, and a Pro Day 4.41-40, with a 6.93 3-cone, and a 4.18-20 yard shuttle. He also had a 38.5 inch vertical, a 10-1 broad jump, and 11 bench reps.
The new red flag comes from Nolan Nawrocki, who reports that Wright tested with 16% body fat, when most WR's are in the single digits, and he adds that the highest body fat for a WR was 14%. However, Nawrocki adds that Wright could only do 4 bench reps, when he's listed at 11, and some teams have him as a 3rd round pick on their draft boards.
This might interest the Panthers, because they have reportedly had a visit with him. Wright's 2011 receiving numbers (108 catches, for 1,663 yards, a 15.4 yard average, and 14 TD's.www.profootballweekly.com/2012/04/19/baylor-triplets-smoke-and-mirrors
