Round 1: Fletcher Cox DT Mississippi State... I think that if nobody trades up that this will be our pick and a good push up the middle is what is most lacking in our pass rush. Our ends were turning the corner just to have the quarterback step up in the pocket.
Round 2: Kelechi Osemele G Iowa State... He is a massive guards with a wingspan of a 7 foot man. He is an excellent drive blocker and I have heard that he most resembles our own Jeff Otah. With those two next to one another it could be the most dominate right side in football if Otah can stay healthy.
Round 4: Bruce Irvin DE/OLB West Virginia... He is a bit of a tweener but is truly a gifted pass rusher and those are difficult to find later in the draft. With his size and 4.4 speed the panthers may even give him a try at WLB where his ability to run and chase could be utilized and could be a dominant blitzer off of the edge.
Round 5: Ryan Broyles WR/PR... The Panthers have been scouting the WR position heavy and get a receiver that falls a little due to a knee injury that he is still recovering from. The added PR value is great since all Armanti Edwards seemed to do was catch the ball and fall down. But he's showing improvement at least he's catching the ball now.
Round 6 pick 1 : Bryan Anger P California... Best punter in the draft with a huge leg for a team with no punter. Easy Pick
Round 6 pick 2: Isaiah Frey CB Nevada... A good developmental prospect that could see the field
Round 7: Markus Zusivecs OT Iowa... More Depth along the line and another player coming off of injury... The way that I see it is if he can recover he could be a very good depth player.
