Hey guys, I wanted to put a fanpost up on this subject quickly to see what kind of interest there is. Other sites like Mocking the Draft and others run a community mock leading up to the draft and I was wondering what the interest would be here in holding our own.

How it normally works is a member would pick a certain team and act as their GM and draft for them in their slots. I personally am one for trading draft picks in the specific year and maybe up to one player on the team. That would need to be discussed.

Also to be discussed is when we do this and how many rounds we do it for. I am one for doing a whole 7 rounds, but that takes time, which we are running out of with the draft being in a couple weeks. Thus, we need to get this going pretty quickly.

Please comment on interest as well as what team you would want and suggestions on times and the other questions I brought up. In order for this to work correctly we would need to trust that everybody represents the team they pick to the best of their ability.

Mocking the Draft gets their last one started tonight and I would suggest checking it out as pcroadrage is running the Panthers section.

EDIT: It looks like it has been determined that we will go 7 rounds, the first 3 happening next Friday night, the 20th, starting at 8. The last 4 will be Saturday at 2.

Trading will need to be within 200 points on the value chart, that I will provide in the comments. Also we can trade one player from your team, but no 2013 picks please. I am trying something new with the player so please try to keep it equal. If you make a trade, please email me at bcsimons@yahoo.com and I will process it and make sure it is okay.
