Go figure... nothing for a month and now a full day of moves (or lack thereof) by the Carolina Panthers. Jordan Senn just announced via Twitter that the Panthers are letting him hit free agency, rather than signing him to a long term deal.
Received word today that the Panthers will be letting me hit free agency... Got that bitter sweet feeling

Senn stepped in a played extremely well when Thomas Davis went down due to injury. While he is not much of a pass defender, he was a reliable run stopper and stadout special teams player for the Panthers.
We will now need to vault OLB along with OG to the top of the list of Panthers needs as they're lacking sufficient bodies and talent to fill those roles. Moreover, this could be an intriguing development as it pertains to the draft: Is it just a coincidence that the players leavin today happen to have reliable 1st round talent that will be available at the Panthers 9th pick (DeCastro and Kuechly respectively).
Big thanks to Jordan Senn for his time in Carolina.
