I'll bet that Georgia TE Orson Charles will wish he had ran his 40 at the Combine now. Rather than running his 40 in-doors at the Combine, Charles chose to wait for his Pro Day in Athens to run his 40. It looks like Charles gambled and lost. Charles had to run out-doors in 20-30 MPH winds today, and it didn't go well. Rob Rang, at nfldraftscout.com reports Charles 40 times as "4.7 to 4.88", while rotoworld.com reports his 40 times as 4.75 and 4.90, that's before the time are adjusted slightly higher, because it's on his college track.
