Carolina Panthers 2012 Draft: One Dynamic Defensive End

Stay connected for news and updates

I wish that I could tell you that the Panthers were at this latest prospect's pro day, but I can't. I also wish that I could tell you that the Panthers have had a private workout with him, but I can't tell you that either. In fact, I had a difficult time gathering any information at all on the reigning Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year. Of course, I would agree with the opinion that the FCS isn't the best place to predict future success in the NFL, but if a guy dominates the competition while there, I'm going to pay attention. For those who appreciate players who have a non-stop motor, I thought you might enjoy watching this 6' 3", 266 lb defensive end do his thing. His name is Andrew Schaetzke, and I'd love to see this guy get some consideration by the Panthers either late in the draft or as a UDFA. What about you? Take a look at his stats and highlight video after the jump, and let me know what you think in the poll that follows. Enjoy the show.
