Panthers Trade Goodson, Add more OL Depth.

In an unsurprising move to many of us the Panthers parted ways with RB Mike Goodson today; however, they were surprisingly able to trade him despite the fact that his days were numbered after the Mike Tolbert signing several weeks ago.

The Panthers found a trade partner with the Oakland Raiders who sent the 6-6 315 lb. OL Bruce Campbell in exchange for Goodson. Campbell played in 4 games for the Raiders last season as an OG but will likely be moved to OT with the Cats. Hurney is quoted on the official Carolina Panthers Twitter as saying "We think Bruce Campbell is a very young, talented offensive lineman who has all physical qualities to play in this League."

What do you all think? Does this count out Decastro from the Panthers draft plans after the other recent OL signing from Indy? I for one am pleased that we were able to get something out of Goodson as I assumed he was just going to be cut in the coming days.
