Might the Panthers Host a Prime Time Game Against Manning or Flynn?

With Peyton Manning's decision to go to Denver followed by Matt Flynn's decision to sign with Seattle, that means the Panthers will host two of the top free agent QB's of the 2012 offseason. Might the Panthers break their prime time drought when one of these two guys comes to town? It's not that we don't have plenty of big games just within our own division nor do we lack our own big name QB in Cam Newton. But come on, a game matching the old guard (Manning) with the new (Newton) including John Fox coming back to Charlotte? That has Monday Night Football written all over it.

Of course, the other Manning is coming to town too, the one that just won a Super Bowl. Certainly he will get a few prime time games. As I already mentioned, Matt Flynn is going to Seattle as a missing piece looking to take the 'Hawks to the next level. After three straight trips to Dallas they finally come to our place. The Cowboys always get a few gratuitous prime time games no matter how good or bad they are.

So by my count that's four of our five non-NFC South visiting opponents (the other being Oakland) providing ample reason for the NFL to schedule a prime time game in Charlotte, something we haven't seen since 2008. So do you think this is the year we get back on MNF?
