Stewart vs Williams. Wheres the love for DW?

I've noticed all the complaining about Williams and his big contract, so I thought I would clarify a few things since it seems you guys have forgotten, or don't really know. First off, I love the Stew as much as any of you guys, but the fact is, DW is equally as good of a RB as Stew is, if not better. I had posted before about DW's cap hit dropping, but apparently my information was wrong, so appologies for my mistake. Anyway, take the jump and see the numbers for yourself.

                           Yards - YPC - Long - TD - 20+ - 40+ - Fum
DeAngelo Williams : 836 - 5.4 - 74t - 7 - 11 - 2 - 0
Jonathan Stewart : 761 - 5.4 - 32 - 4 - 6 - 0 - 1

IMO, DW is very deserving of his contract, and Stew should be paid big bucks as well, however they both play on
the same team, and it would be financially irresponsible to keep both players given the needs elsewhere on the team. Reality is, DW has already been paid, so he will be our long term guy, and the team has 2 options. Trade Stew this year, and get an extra draft pick or 2, or keep Stew this year hoping to run our way to the Super Bowl, and let him walk next year with minimal compensation pick.

Double Trouble had a great run together, but there's an ending to every book, and unfortunately I feel the end is near for our great duo, so I think we might as well get some value for Stew while we can, and not end up in another Pepper's like scenario. Good luck Stew, wherever you may end up, just hopefully not in the NFC South
