Let's get this out of the way first. Jordan White is not a receiver that is going to wow you with blazing speed. But this shouldn't faze CSR nation one bit because our readers are educated enough to know that athletes don't get by on speed alone. This certainly applies to our prospect today because he posted one of the worst forty times at this year's combine by running an official 4.69.
However, he did improve on his forty this past week at Western Michigan's pro day by putting up two unofficial times of 4.57 and 4.60. White is one of those players that has what many scouts would call football speed. When you watch White's video highlights below, pay attention to how close to perfect he is while running routes. Furthermore, notice how well he catches passes with his hands of glue before the ball ever has a chance to get into his body.
These are the kind of qualities that will allow a receiver to lead the nation in receptions(140) and yards(1911), which is almost 500 more yards than the second best receiver. Personally, I like this prospect enough to take him as high as the 4th round. What about you? Let me know in the poll.
