Keep hearing Dan Connor to Eagles will be done.

In a move that should surprise nobody, Pete Prisco of CBS Sports is reporting that Carolina Panthers' MLB Dan Connor will likely sign with the Philadelphia Eagles tomorrow. This will give the native Pennsylvanian, and local hero (from Penn State) a chance to brave the rabid fans at "The Linc".
It's sad to see Connor (and his amazing tweets) leave Charlotte, but it's a good opportunity for him to get the starting job he deserves, but will never get with Jon Beason playing MLB here. There is a fortunate flip side to the Panthers, that this move would likely open up Boston College LB Luke Kuechly in a trade down scenario. Due to lack of need at the position there are many pundits who either had the Eagles taking Kuechly, or him sliding into the mid-twenties.
Should the Panthers be able to trade back in the 1st round into the late teens/early twenties this could be a nice pickup. After all, we did trade down for Jon Beason and that worked out pretty well.
If this move goes through CSR would like to extend our thanks to Dan Connor for his time with the Panthers.
